This year the 100th edition of Anacortes High School’s yearbook "The Rhododendron' will be published. The yearbook staff is seeking input from AHS alumni. Please answer some or all of the questions & email answers to

Hundreds of outstanding photographs from this year’s sporting events, pep assemblies, homecoming activities and performing arts are now available online. Download digital photos or order custom prints from a professional photo lab. Visit ahs.smugmug.com to view the photo galleries. When prompted to enter a password, type in “seahawks”. Dear Parents and Seniors,
As the year of 2008-2009 comes to an end, it’s time to think about your SENIOR year! Here are some things you should be thinking about for the 2009-2010 yearbook:
Senior Portraits: DEADLINE IS WEDNESDAY, OCT. 21, 2009
Senior Portraits have been a tradition at AHS for years. Seniors can choose to submit a custom photo for the senior section, to replace the photo taken by the school photographer. These photo chosen to be submitted can be taken by a professional photographer, the yearbook staff, family, or friends. The yearbook policy states that “these optional unaltered portraits must be of high quality, show the student's face clearly, and not include any obscene, offensive, suggestive, or ‘school inappropriate’ content.” The yearbook staff and advisor reserve the right to crop or refuse a photo that doesn’t meet the policy standards.
Photo Formats: Students may submit photographic prints of 3”x5” or larger, or digital photos 6”x8” or larger. Please drop off prints or CDs to Mrs. Larkin at the ASB window. Digital photos may be emailed to the Rhododendron staff at ahsyearbook@asd103.org by Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009.
Senior Flashbacks: DEADLINE WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 18,2009
These are photos from your childhood from members of your class and you together. Send them in, so all your childhood memories can be reminisced upon.

It’s a great way to celebrate a senior’s growth and achievements throughout their high school career. Senior Ads may be purchased by family members or friends. The following ads are available:
Baby Picture Ads: Parents or grandparents submit one photo of the student as a baby or toddler. Include a message up to 50 words. $20.00
Senior Ads: These may be purchased by family members for a student or a group of seniors may purchase and ad for their friends. The ads vary in size, design, and may include several submitted pictures.
Prices: ¼ page- $50 ½ page-$100 Full Page- $200
