The Culminating Project is a reflection of what students learn during their years at Anacortes High School and how this relates to their future.

     Culminating Project Information

Students are now in advisory groups with the focus on academic awareness and building their Culminating Project Portfolio.

Freshmen begin building their portfolio with documents and exemplary work samples that will support their success after high school.  This portfolio will be part of their senior year Culminating Project presentation.

Sophomores continue updating their portfolio with specific documents and exemplary work samples relating to their sophomore year.

Juniors also continue updating their portfolio with specific documents, including their junior year research paper, and exemplary work samples.

Seniors, throughout the year, will be working toward the goal of completing their Culminating Project portfolio and finalizing their presentation.

Seniors receive a letter grade in Advisory for the successful completion of their Culminating Project. A "MET" standard grade for your Culminating Project is posted to your final AHS transcript.
