The Show
The Rock Underground is a magazine format “edu-tainment” television program that airs once a month at Anacortes High School. Fifteen very creative and talented students in Mr. Thompson’s Advanced Digital Media class write, produce, direct, shoot, and edit 5-7 short segments about a variety of topics for each show. The segments are mixed with live hosts during the studio taping of the show. That 25-35 minute tape is then played back over the school’s closed circuit tv system during Advisory period. Nominate Someone!
Each episode of The Rock will feature a talented individual at AHS in a segment called First Person. If you know someone who can perform a special talent, is pro at an extreme sport, performs incredible music, excels at their job, or goes above and beyond in community service work, or anything else amazing, then nominate them to be featured on First Person. You can even nominate yourself! Simply send an email to The Rock (therock @asd103.org) and include the following information:
-Person’s Name
-Grade
-Special Interest, Talent, or Passion
-Why you think they deserve to be nominated
