Applications open for Student School Board Rep

Students at school board meeting
We are currently accepting applications for Student Board Reps for the upcoming school year. Student board reps serve during their junior and senior years.

This is a unique opportunity that past students have told us is one of the most engaging and rewarding experiences of their high school career. If selected, you will have the opportunity to serve alongside elected board members and have a real impact in decision making and school policy. While student board representatives do not have voting authority, their voice is heard and considered during board decisions.
Student board reps also conduct a research project related to current district work and have an opportunity to travel to Olympia to meet with our elected officials.

This is a significant time commitment, but you will reap lasting rewards from this experience. Check in with any of our current student board reps - Alyssa Watson, Rafka Daou, Grace Hill, or Carson Lindholm - about their experience.

If interested, please fill out an online application by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 26th. Selected representatives will be sworn in at the May 16th board meeting. Questions? Contact the Superintendent's Office (360) 503-1211 or tramsay@asd103.org
